Hi there! I’m Kelly. I love connecting deeply with humans and helping them thrive. It’s part of everything that I do. It’s in my friendships, the communities I join (hello BW Ultimate and The Commons), the communities I create (Jellytown and Coaching Corner), and the topics I explore. I’m always looking to learn more about how to help humans build deeper connections and live fulfilling lives.

- I’m a career coach.
- I’ve worked at 3 early stage tech start-ups in the ed tech space and community space - Rev, ZeeMee, and Orbit.
- I've been a product manager, engineering manager, and software engineer.
- I took a 7 month sabbatical away from the tech industry to give myself space to figure out what I cared about. I talked to strangers in the Bay, visited local community hubs, explored coaching, and delved into community building research - and realized that what I care about most is deep human connection.
- I graduated from MIT with a B.S. in Computer Science.
Non career related facts
- 🥰 I am an avid community builder. I am currently building two communities - Coaching Corner, an online space for coaches to support other coaches, and Jellytown, an in-person community that connects people in the Bay through curiosity, creativity and storytelling.
- 🏃🏻♀️ I’ve played competitive ultimate frisbee for the past 11 years. I think a lot about the athlete mindset, sustainable training, building strong team dynamics, and growing mental resilience — and how these lessons can translate to others parts of my life.
- ✍🏻 I love writing as an avenue to build vulnerability and connection. I write a monthly newsletter to share my exploration of the things I find most important - from relationships to community to feelings and everything in between.
- 🧪 I love running experiments, learning, and being curious! Currently, I’m learning more about feelings, creating my own relationship norms, PT, and expanding my self-expression through dance/fashion/other experiences.
- 🌲 I’m a wannabe junior ranger. I’m super into identifying trees, spotting new kinds of flowers, poking moss, and learning new facts about plants.
- ☕ I love coffee shops and pastries. As a result, I've been to way too many coffee shops and bakeries. Hit me up for recs 😋
- 🧘🏻♀️ I'm learning to appreciate and set aside quiet time for reflection, writing, and just being. It's a huge change-up from my previous fidgety self.. and I can’t say that I’ve been entirely successful…
- 👩🏻🎤 I used to dislike anime and k-pop and distanced myself from anything that was too "Asian". But during the pandemic, I had more time to explore my Asian identity, and I'm now a big fan of both. Currently I’m into One Piece and TXT.
- 🌳 I currently live in the Bay Area. I was originally born and raised outside Boston.
