Hi there!! I’m Kelly. I am a coach, writer, community builder, ultimate frisbee athlete, child of immigrants, recovering high-achiever, and cat mom. I love love love connecting deeply with humans and doing everything in my power to help others thrive.

Career facts

My current work: I coach folks around their career, build community locally and online, and write about the human experience.
I worked for 7+ years in the tech industry as a product manager, engineering manager, and a software engineer. I worked at 3 early stage tech start-ups in the ed-tech space and community space - Rev, ZeeMee, and Orbit.
I took a 7 month sabbatical away from the tech industry to give myself space to figure out what I cared about. I ran many experiments — I talked to strangers in the Bay, visited local community hubs, explored coaching, and delved into community building research - and came out of it learning that what I care about most is deep human connection.
I graduated from MIT with a B.S. in Computer Science.

Non-career facts

🥰 I am an avid community builder. I am currently building two communities - Coaching Corner, an online space for coaches to support other coaches, and Jellytown, an in-person community that connects people in the Bay through curiosity, creativity and storytelling.
🏃🏻‍♀️ I’ve played competitive ultimate frisbee for the past 11 years. I think a lot about the athlete mindset, sustainable training, building strong team dynamics, and growing mental resilience — and how these lessons can translate to others parts of my life.
✍🏻 I love writing as an avenue to build vulnerability and connection. I write a monthly newsletter to share my exploration of the things I find most important - from relationships to community to feelings and everything in between.
💡 I love exploring new ideas (and talking about them!!). Currently, I’m learning more about feelings, creating my own relationship norms, understanding how my body works through physical therapy, and expanding my self-expression through dance/fashion/other experiences.
😍 I love cats, shonen manga/anime, kpop, and quality coffee shops. I’m currently really into One Piece and TXT.
🌳 I live in the Bay Area. I was originally born and raised outside Boston.
